A. No. Every dog-pod is made up from customers' instructions.

Q. How much does a dog-pod cost?
A. A fully equipped pod delivered costs £265.00 in UK. For details of extras go to the Dog-Pod Order Form

Q. Can the dog-pod be folded when not in use?
A. Yes. It has to be folded for delivery. No tools are needed. After the initial assembly, it will take about 1 minute to fold or re-assemble.

Q. How do I work out the shape and sizes that will fit my vehicle?
A. Go to Dog-Pod Measuring Instructions and print it out, taking it with you to the vehicle.

Q. What features come with the dog-pod?
A. Basic dog-pods have one door hinged as that on the vehicle. An escape door behind the seats. Holes in the door for hands to fit lead or access to the dog, self latching catches, a hook to hold the door up when open and a ventilation hook to leave the door open about 6 inches but with the vehicle locked. Q. How do I know that I have got all the information that I need?
A. Go to the HamsterBaskets home page and using the pulldown menu, read the top six pages.

Q. How long will it take from ordering to delivery?
A. Three days to two months. This depends on the current work in hand. To get a current report go to the bottom of How Safe Is Your Dog? and click on the request for a quote (in Blue).

Q. Do you have the dimensions for my vehicle which you can suggest?
A. Usually. We have made dog-pods for most popular vehicles and can offer "Suggestions". BUT modifications are frequently made by manufacturers and we insist that you check the actual vehicle. Alter the figures if needed, but the dimensions that YOU give will be those used for manufacture.

Q. What happens if I get a dimension wrong?
A. When the dog-pod is delivered, if an error is realised when putting the dog-pod into the car, the dog-pod can be returned for alteration. Just phone Hamster Baskets and explain the problem. We can often solve it for you then and there. If the dog-pod has to come back for serious alterations, we will arrange collection, alter to your instructions and return it within the week. The cost would be the double carriage costs and £25 per dimension that needs altering.
